Courtney Reece, BSc (Psychology), MACP Student Clinician
Pronouns: She/Her
I am a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology student completing my clinical practicum at Enlee, where I provide psychotherapy under the supervision of a licensed clinician. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and bring over six years of experience working in social services and mental health support roles.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and trauma informed. I aim to create a safe, non judgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and respected. My work is informed by cognitive behavioural therapy, DBT informed skills, mindfulness, and strengths based approaches. I also incorporate gentle body awareness and nervous system regulation strategies to support grounding and emotional regulation.
I am particularly interested in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma related concerns, chronic stress, grief, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions. I welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds and strive to provide culturally responsive and inclusive care.
I chose counselling because I believe in the power of compassionate connection and in supporting people as they make sense of their experiences and move toward healing and growth.

Future clinical interests include trauma focused therapies such as EMDR, as well as approaches that support emotional regulation, values based living, and internal awareness, including DBT, ACT, and IFS.
I am currently accepting clients in Ontario.
