Enlee is pleased to offer practicum placements for Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) students in a structured, trauma-informed, and community-based mental health setting.

We are an approved practicum site for Yorkville University and our practicum model is designed to support emerging therapists in developing strong clinical foundations while serving diverse and often underserved communities.

About the Practicum at Enlee

Enlee is a not-for-profit mental health and skills-building hub committed to equity, accessibility, and culturally responsive care. Practicum students at Enlee gain experience working within a community-oriented model that integrates clinical skill development with social awareness and ethical practice.

Our practicum experience emphasizes:

  • Trauma-informed and culturally responsive care

  • Ethical, client-centred practice aligned with professional standards

  • Development of foundational counselling competencies

  • Clear structure, support, and accountability

  • Reflective practice and professional growth

Students work with clients presenting with general mental health concerns such as stress, anxiety, mood difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem, relational challenges, and adjustment issues.

Practicum Structure

 

  • Session Format: Standard 50-minute counselling sessions

  • Service Delivery: Virtual, in-person, or hybrid (subject to availability)

  • Client Population: General adult mental health presentations appropriate for student clinicians

  • Supervision: In accordance with Yorkville University or Humber College practicum requirements

  • Clinical Documentation: Students are expected to complete timely and professional documentation using Enlee’s clinical systems

  • Meet practicum eligibility criteria set by Yorkville University or Humber College

  • Hold or be eligible for student professional liability insurance

  • Commit to consistent weekly availability throughout the practicum term

  • Complete Enlee’s onboarding, training, and documentation requirements
