I believe counselling works best when you feel genuinely seen, met with compassion, and not rushed toward fixing yourself. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, burnt out, or stuck in patterns that go deeper than surface-level coping strategies.
My approach is integrative, relational, and body-aware. I draw primarily from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic-based therapy. This means we pay attention not only to thoughts and behaviours, but also to your nervous system, body emotions, and the different “parts” of you that developed to protect and support you through life. Rather than judging or trying to eliminate these parts, we approach them with curiosity, respect, and care.
I work at a pace that honours your capacity. Sessions are collaborative, grounded, and shaped by what feels most present for you, whether that’s navigating life transitions, processing grief or burnout, or learning how to feel safer and more connected within yourself. I have a particular care for people who are sensitive, thoughtful, or creative, as well as those who have spent much of their lives feeling responsible for others while quietly setting their own needs aside.
My journey into counselling has been shaped by lived experience and a deep respect for the resilience of the human system. I value authenticity, gentleness, and emotional safety in the therapeutic relationship, and I strive to create a space where you don’t need to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or have everything figured out. Counselling with me is an invitation to slow down, listen inwardly, and develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself, one that supports meaningful change, not through pressure, but through presence and care.
I am currently not accepting new clients.

I know therapy works best when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and safe to be themselves. Many individuals come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or unsure how to put their experiences into words. My path into counselling has been shaped by lived experiences of navigating identity, relationships, expectations, and emotional responsibility within family and cultural systems. Coming from a Muslim background, I understand the complexity of holding faith, culture, and personal needs at once. Therapy, for me, is a space where your experiences are honored, not minimized.
My work integrates CBT, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Sessions remain flexible and responsive to your needs, focusing on understanding emotions, shifting unhelpful patterns, reconnecting with strengths, and moving toward change in a way that feels aligned and manageable for you.
I want you to know that therapy doesn’t require you to have the right words, a clear goal, or a neatly defined problem. You are welcome exactly as you are, with all the uncertainty, questions, and emotions you may be carrying.
I invite you to reach out to book your free 30-minute consultation, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
