Enlee is a volunteer-powered nonprofit organization dedicated to making individual psychotherapy accessible to adults who face financial or systemic barriers to care.
We offer up to 12 free psychotherapy sessions for adults (18+), delivered virtually through a supervised clinical model. Our goal is to ensure that cost, insurance status, or life circumstances do not prevent people from receiving meaningful mental health support.
Our Mission
Enlee exists to reduce barriers to psychotherapy and to support emotional well-being, resilience, and personal growth within the community.
We are guided by a simple belief: access to mental health care should not depend on income.
Our Approach
Care at Enlee is:
-
Individual and outpatient
-
Time-limited (up to 12 sessions)
-
Trauma-informed and culturally responsive
-
Delivered virtually
-
Provided under clinical supervision
Services are offered by licensed clinicians and supervised MACP-level student or intern therapists who volunteer their time to support the community.
We do not provide crisis or emergency mental health services, couples or family therapy, or child/youth therapy under this program.
A Supervised, Ethical Model
All psychotherapy services at Enlee are delivered within a structured supervision framework to ensure:
-
Client safety
-
Ethical practice
-
Professional accountability
-
Appropriate scope of care
This model allows Enlee to both expand access to care and support the training and development of future mental health professionals.
Our Team
A Community of Volunteers
Enlee is supported by a diverse group of licensed clinicians and supervised practicum clinicians who volunteer their time and expertise.
Rather than presenting individual therapist profiles, Enlee focuses on collective care, ethical supervision, and appropriate clinician-client matching based on availability and program fit.
This approach helps protect client safety and ensures consistency within a volunteer-led, nonprofit model.
Where We Operate
Enlee provides psychotherapy virtually across multiple Canadian provinces. Applicants must be able to participate in online sessions and meet program eligibility criteria.
Our Commitment to You
No session fees. No insurance required.
We are committed to providing care that is:
-
Respectful
-
Confidential
-
Trauma-informed
-
Ethically supervised
-
Free of charge
Care is provided through a volunteer-powered nonprofit model.
